Our Vectorworks 3D & BIM Training Course show you how to leverage the power of 3D design and modelling directly inside Vectorworks, replacing SketchUP or other 3D software. We can cover all the main 3D tools and modelling techniques from freeform modelling, too advanced NURBS, and Sub Division for furniture to site and terrain modelling for landscape and urban design as you require.
Course Content
• Introduction to the working environment
We look at project set up including layer, screen and working planes. As well showing reference and organise your 3D models properly.
• 3D tools & commands
As well as the basic extrudes, sweeps and solid additions and subtractions, we cover fillet, chamfer, extracting surfaces, tapering and more.
• History based modelling
Vectorworks has history based modelling and we show you how to access this to explore deisgn options and retain flexibility over changes.
• Advanced 3D NURBS modelling
Freeform modelling via NURBS and Subdivison tools opens up a whole new level or modelling for complex buildings and furniture items.
• Creating 3D & BIM Libraries Renderworks Textures
We cover importing 3D & SketchUP resources and creating texture libraries and getting beautiful renders.
• Real-Time Rendering
Bing your models to life by exporting for real-time rendering via Twinmotion or Enscape directly from your Vectorworks 3D model
